The House With No Front Door
A Middle Grade Mystery

After 12-year old Joey Cavanaugh moves with his family to an historic home in San Antonio's inner city, his grousing about missing his old neighborhood and friends quickly turns to curiosity. Marcos Gomez, the boy who lives across the street, warns him to stay away from the old house next to theirs- a strange-looking place with no front door--but Joey does the opposite. Soon, Joey's six-year-old sister, Michelle, starts talking to a girl no one else can see but who Michelle insists lives in the house with no front door. Joey is convinced she's in danger and asks Marcos to help him learn more about this ghostly little girl. The boy's search for the sinister secret of the house becomes urgent when they learn that the little girl ghost is demanding a permanent playmate, and time is running out.
